Jo Ann and Wayne Moore Building
The southernmost section of the religion complex houses Brite Divinity School, the largest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) seminary in the nation. The divinity school is named for cattleman Luke Brite, a man of unshakable Christian faith who devoted his life and much of his wealth to the development of the Brite College. Mr. Moore, a geologist, oilman and rancher, served as chair of the Brite Divinity School Board of Trustees for 23 years, as well as on the TCU Board of Trustees. Mrs. Moore, a Midland civic leader, was active in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and served on TCU's Board of Trustees.
