The Institute of Behavioral Research (IBR) is a separate academic research unit of the University. Through common research training goals and interests, it is closely affiliated with the Department of Psychology. Known for groundbreaking research on drug treatment therapies, it was established in 1962 by Professor Emeritus Saul B. Sells.
